Job Description:
Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for an eBike Inside Sales &
Marketing Representative to join our Smart Powered Vehicles team in
Cypress, CA.The Inside Sales & Marketing Representative will be
responsible for driving sales growth in their region(s), activating
new dealers, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. In
addition, they will be responsible for identifying new dealer
prospects and educating eBike dealers on current sales programs,
dealer systems, dealer marketing programs and product education
including eBike and accessories. The role includes reporting on all
sales activities and identifying improvement areas to increase
eBike business and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:
- Proactively reach out to prospects through cold-calling, email
campaigns, and other communication and sales lead strategies.
Analyze past sales history vs. current market trends to formulate a
strategy for responsible region and each dealer. Qualify leads and
manage the sales pipeline to achieve sales targets and increase
market share.
- Identify and prospect potential dealers and partners within the
designated region to expand eBike dealer network. Effectively
communicate the value of partnering with our brand and demonstrate
a deep understanding of our product line.
- Regularly update and maintain accurate records of sales
activities and opportunities using our CRM or other reporting
tools. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for
improvement.
- Collaborate with field sales team to ensure seamless onboarding
of new dealers. Conduct training sessions to educate dealers on
products, programs, dealer systems, sales techniques, and brand
values.
- Achieve key wholesale, retail, market share, performance and
initiative targets as set by management. Support other members in
achieving team and individual goals.
- Build and sustain strong teamwork with field sales & marketing
coworkers and all other internal Yamaha business units (Motorsports
DMs, Marine DMM, etc.) support groups and external partners as
needed to achieve required results.
- Promote products at required customer and dealer events and
travel to key dealers and partners as needed to grow sales.
- Other duties as assigned.What you'll need to be successful:
- Minimum of 5+ years proven inside sales experience in a B2B
environment, preferably in bicycle or related recreational products
industries. Demonstrated experience in phone sales is
preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field is
highly preferred.
- Previous success at achieving sales targets and executing key
business initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including
excellent negotiation ability, while taking a customer-centric
approach. Ability to effectively communicate and motivate dealers
and partners.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office
Suite.
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and provide
appropriate solutions.
- Collaborative team player who can work closely with field sales
and marketing team to align strategies, share market insights, and
coordinate efforts to maximize sales performance.
- Willingness to travel when required for sales meetings, events,
etc.Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic working
environment.
- Expert awareness of bicycle industry business trends and eBike
competitive landscape with ability to provide up to date feedback
to the team to refine business strategies.
- Strong up to date product knowledge of eBike industry with the
ability to provide detailed technical product information to
current and potential dealers.
- Strong customer relationship management to cultivate
long-lasting relationships with dealers/partners and provide
exceptional customer service to build loyalty and trust.Pay
Range:$52,000 - $79,990 + Sales IncentiveYamaha intends to offer
the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related
experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha's Total Reward program, our
Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates
