Sous Chef OpportunityWe are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team at Eastside Mexican Cuisine in Los Angeles. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Executive Chef in menu planning and kitchen operations
• Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Lead and mentor a strong culinary team, including hands-on training and guidance
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment through effective communication with colleagues and management
• Order and receive ingredients, manage inventory, and maintain food costs
• Ensure best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchenRequirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position (Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, Kitchen Supervisor, Junior Sous)
  • Passion for seasonal, quality ingredients and Mexican cuisine
  • Proven experience in kitchen leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysBenefits:
    • Base Salary in the $70-75k Range
