Job Description:

Growing Company is seeking a professional Quality Control Technician to help improve the quality of production for their organization. Applicants must be able to work 1st or 2nd Monday-Friday and available to work weekends, overtime and holidays. MUST HAVE QUALITY CONTROL EXPERIENCE IN FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY!! Essential Functions: 1 Perform line checks on vertical and horizontal machines. 2 Walks production floor to ensure GMP's are being followed. 3 Conducts metal detector checks; this is companies sole CCP in its HACCP plan. 4 Inspect machinery to ensure proper clean-up has occurred when needed. 5 Assist in managing retain sample inventory. 6 Assists QC Supervisor in filing QC documentation as needed. 8 Performs other duties as assigned that improve the efficiency of the above processes and procedures. 9 Assists the QC Supervisor in maintaining the QC Office in an organized and professional manner. JOB KNOWLEDGE: 1 Minimum formal education: High School Diploma 2 Minimum job content knowledge: a) One year of high production is helpful b) Good communication skills c) Bilingual Spanish
