salaries and benefits.In this role, you will manage and lead the
engineering and design of facility and building systems for Data
Centers and other Critical Facilities Projects. You will oversee
all phases of project management/project delivery: design, quality
control, staffing, and budget management (P & L) while following
Industry Best Practices.Responsibilities:
- Interface with clients to define project requirements and
establish project work plans and deadlines.
- Manage client relationships and expectations through effective
communication.
- Manage multiple projects, produce engineering proposals (RFPs),
and facilitate client meetings/presentations.
- Track progress of projects against goals, objectives,
timelines, and budgets.
- Generate reports and track project costs and financial
forecasts.
- Monitor expenses to ensure they fall within the prescribed
budget.
- Provide direction and leadership to the project team.
- Work closely with other functional areas, project contractors,
internal/external team members, customers, and suppliers.
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Manage business development for new and future projects.
- Lead a team of engineers and technical staff.Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience managing Data Centers/Critical Facilities
Design Projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, or Architecture is a MUST.
- P.E. license or AIA certification is required or in
progress.
- Experience managing engineering projects in the consulting
industry (A/E, MEP).
- Project management experience in the Consulting Engineering
Industry.
- Client relationship management and business development
experience.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel, with the ability to
create complex reports and forecasts.
- Previous military experience in Electrical/Mechanical roles is
